Men in jail

REMINDER: LLA Officers Are Considered Officers of the LPD

The Lovat Police Department would like to remind the community that LLA (Lovat Loyalty Authority) Officers are considered officers of the Lovat Police Department. LLA Officers play a critical role in maintaining law and order within the city, working alongside LPD officers to ensure the safety and security of the residents.

LLA Officers possess the authority and responsibility to enforce local laws and regulations, just like LPD officers. It is important for community members to recognize and respect the authority of LLA Officers and cooperate with their instructions when encountered.

Failure to comply with an LLA Officer’s lawful commands may result in legal consequences, including arrest and possible incarceration. The LPD urges residents to understand that non-compliance with an LLA Officer can lead to potential charges and may result in finding oneself in jail.

The collaboration between LPD and LLA officers strengthens the overall law enforcement efforts in Lovat. The LPD appreciates the public’s cooperation and compliance with the instructions given by LLA Officers, as it contributes to maintaining a safe and harmonious community for all residents.

The LPD remains committed to promoting a positive relationship between law enforcement and the community, and encourages individuals to report any concerns or issues related to LLA Officers’ conduct through the appropriate channels. Together, we can work towards ensuring the safety and well-being of Lovat’s residents.
