Midnight Bust on Holloway & Twenty-First Yields Weapons, Fake Lira

A late-night sting operation led by LPD officers uncovered an illegal weapons cache and a counterfeit currency press hidden in a butcher’s cellar in Holgate Hill. The property, located on Level Four, North Holloway Blvd, had long been under suspicion due to irregular delivery hours and shuttered windows.

Two suspects, both humans, were taken into custody without incident. A third, identified as a dauger male, attempted escape via the service lift but was intercepted by officers. Police recovered several illegal firearms, blank lira sheets, and forged watermarks. According to LPD Duty-Sergeant Ido Nance, the counterfeits “could’ve fooled most merchants.”

The cellar operation was allegedly tied to a broader forgery ring suspected of funneling weapons and fake currency into the lower warrens. No charges have been filed yet, but all three suspects remain in custody.
