Expanding Representation, Deepening Trust: New Recruitment for the LPD Aquatics Division

The City of Lovat announces a significant expansion of the Lovat Police Department’s Aquatics Division, with a new recruitment initiative focused on enhancing patrol coverage and community engagement in Level One, commonly referred to as “The Sunk.”

This initiative reflects Lovat’s ongoing commitment to equity, safety, and representation across all nine levels of our city. With a special emphasis on residents of aquatic and semi-aquatic heritage, the LPD seeks to enlist qualified applicants from the cephel, anur, and kresh communities to serve as officers in the division tasked with patrolling and protecting the flooded districts of Level One.

“Level One is a living, breathing part of this city, and it deserves the same vigilance and presence as any other level,” said Mayor Camilla Magnez. “By expanding the Aquatics Division, we are not only reinforcing security, but also ensuring the people of our lowest level are represented and respected.”

Key components of the initiative include:

  • Immediate recruitment of up to 60 new officers from aquatic-capable backgrounds.
  • Enhanced patrol routes and emergency response capability within Level One.
  • Community liaison training for all Aquatics Division personnel.
  • Language and cultural fluency standards updated to better serve Sunk residents.

Residents of Level One have long expressed concerns about under-policing and limited municipal presence. This effort represents a first step in addressing that imbalance.

Applications open immediately. Interested individuals should contact the LPD Aquatics Division or visit any Directory Agent outpost for enrollment materials and physical readiness requirements.
