The annual election for the Pergola Square Historic Review Committee was conducted via courier-submitted ballot. Three committee seats were subject to a community vote. The certified results are listed below:
• Hollis Brandt has been elected to Seat #1 – Registered Resident
• Maela wen Jurta has been elected to Seat #3 – Commercial Leaseholder
• Sem Bronze has been elected to Seat #5 – Property Owner or Mixed Use Representative
Per municipal code, the published results shall stand unless a formal petition of challenge is submitted to the Department of Cultural Stewardship within five business days of certification.
The Pergola Square Historic Review Committee is responsible for ensuring that renovations and exterior alterations within the Pergola Square Preservation Boundary adhere to existing aesthetic and architectural guidelines. The committee reviews applications for modifications to signage, awnings, exterior paint color, fixture attachments, transparency standards, and façade restoration.
The committee consists of five members. Three are elected by eligible residents, leaseholders, and property owners within the district. Two are appointed by the Mayor of Lovat in accordance with the Cultural Ordinances of 1328.
