Sometime during the previous evening, unknown persons unlawfully entered Barnabé Organs, a long-established manufacturer of pipe organs located near the intersection of Corliss and 43rd in John Nobel, Level Five. The break-in was discovered early this morning when staff arrived to find the rear service entrance forced open.
At present, it is unclear what was taken. The owner, Mr. Caius Barnabé, declined to provide a list of missing items to officers on the scene and refused entry to LPD investigators without a formal warrant. Barnabé was quoted as saying only that “some things are irreplaceable” and that “tampering has consequences.”
No suspects have been identified, and the investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the LPD. As always, citizens are reminded to secure their businesses and report suspicious activity.
