LLA Investigates Unauthorized Broadcast Signal in Ivanhurst

Agents of the Lovat Loyalty Authority are investigating an unauthorized signal transmission that briefly interrupted standard radio programming in Ivanhurst late last night. The broadcast, described by witnesses as “distorted chanting layered over a droning hum,” replaced the regular transmission on multiple frequencies, including private corporate and municipal channels, for approximately six minutes and six seconds before abruptly ceasing.

The incident bears a disturbing resemblance to the signal incursion that occurred during the Autumn Gala live broadcast on 191.9 AZAH, which the LLA continues to investigate. That disruption, mandated for rebroadcast under the city charter, remains controversial, with organizations such as The Camalote Group calling it “an affront to the cultural integrity of Lovat.” However, unlike the Autumn Gala event—where the incursion was an anticipated anomaly—this latest transmission appears to have been deliberately injected into secured channels.

Several reports indicate the signal originated near the abandoned monorail depot on Level Three. Responding agents conducted a full sweep of the area but found no broadcasting equipment, no power sources, and no signs of recent human activity. However, a faint yellow residue was discovered on one of the rusted terminal consoles, which has been collected for analysis.

LLA Chief Investigator Veylin Rho urged caution but dismissed speculation surrounding the nature of the transmission. “We take unauthorized broadcasts very seriously. Interference with secured channels is a criminal act and will be prosecuted accordingly. At this time, we have no reason to believe this was anything more than a sophisticated hoax.”

Despite official reassurances, some residents claim to have experienced mild headaches, dizziness, and vivid dreams following exposure to the transmission. A local merchant, who asked to remain anonymous, stated, “I didn’t even hear words. Just tones. But I woke up at dawn with the taste of iron in my mouth.”

The LLA urges any citizens with information about the transmission or its source to report it immediately.
